WILL THE REAL UNCLE AL SIT DOWN!

This is the 2nd set of pictures & story Kerri asked me to put on the Moren Blog.

Yes, Uncle Al had this "HAIR" brained idea to put his beard on Travis & Colton & make them look like little Uncle Al's. He had shaved last Spring & saved his beard so we used that.

Then the kids wanted to shave his beard & cut his hair for him so he let them. He only had a couple of raw spots on his face when they were done. Colton thought Uncle Al's hair wasn't short enough so he grabbed the scissors & just that fast Uncle Al grabbed it back & said "It's short enough." Travis had the clipper in hand doing the back of Uncle Al's head & we heard this GRRRRRRP from the clipper & Al said "Is there a hole back there." Very calmly Travis said "NOPE NOTHIN TO WORRY ABOUT."

Needless to say it was a very entertaining afternooon & all 3 kids & I decided with just his mustache he looks like his Dad. Thanks Joey & Kerri for sharing your kids with us.

SUNDAY AFTERNOON RIDE ON OUR HUNTING MOBILE

Kerri asked me to post these pictures & 2 stories on the Moren Blog for her.

Last Sunday afternoon our door bell rang & here stood Travis & Colton & their Hunting Mobile as Travis put it. They said they were hunting birds. I'm not sure what kind of birds but Uncle Al set them straight on what to shoot & he & the boys decided they needed special effects on the Hunting Mobile so Uncle Al found these two skulls. Don't ask what they are cause I'm not sure, I just know its not my skull or any other human remains. Colton said he had to wear the goggles so he didn't get hit with any rocks that Travis might kick up. Needless to say it went from a boring Sunday afternoon to very fun & entertaining. They are all BOY & they make a good team.

He's coming soon!

Angie has been on bed rest since Friday because of high blood pressure. She saw her doctor again this morning. Her BP was even higher but all other tests were better than they were last week. If they hadn't improved, she would have induced her tomorrow. Since they have improved, she is going to wait until Friday of this week - May 23 @ 5 AM. He will be 3 weeks early but the doctor said she would be surprised if he was less than 7 lbs.

Pray for her that she will remain calm & that she obeys the doctor's instructions. She is going in to work to get her lap-top so she can work on a project that she had hoped to get done before going on maternity leave. The doc said she could work an hour on & an hour off as long as she was in a reclining position.

Spring clean up

Oliver and I went up to Mom and Dad's house in Deerwood to help with some yard work/painting on Saturday. I didn't know it was going to be another winter-esque day, so I didn't bring warm stuff for Olives. He took care of it by snagging this hat from the box of Goodwill gear I had in the Jeep. Perfect.
