Friday Mitchell had his tonsils and adenoids out. From the time we got home Friday until about noon on Saturday he was doing great--eating, drinking, being crazy. From Saturday noon until yesterday afternoon he continued to go down hill. Finally Mom and I took him to the Emergency Room in St. Cloud and they put an IV in him, did some blood work, and also did a chest x-ray. The blood work and x-ray came back good however he was a little bit dehydrated and could possibly have a cold or RSV. Since then he seems to be doing better although he is still not eating and drinking like he should be. Hopefully with a good night sleep tonight , tomorrow will be better yet.
We took him to see the ENT doctor Thursday and due to his schedule and our schedule with having the baby he thought having the surgery Friday morning was the best idea. It was very nice of the surgeon to work him in the way he did.
Hopefully this puts an end to his snoring, strep throat, noisey breathing and all of his other problems his tonsils and adenoids were causing.
