what to wear?
Check this out!
My friend gave me a really cool bracelet with Eliott's picture on it as a gift for when I go back to work, and she told me that I had to check out the website. Take a look, the little baby hanging over the arm yawning...yep, that's Eliott! He's good advertisement!!

Here are a few photos from the Toftness family trip out east. We all had a ball- even Oliver! He got to meet his auntie Jessica for the first time and see his other aunt and uncles who missed him so much! On our trip back home we met up with one of Luke's friends in Chicago, so that's who the unfamiliar face is with us at Starbucks. Hope everyone is having a wonderful fall season!
Love the Toftnesses
puppies and kaspers!?!?!?

didn't work
When I finally tried to book the hotel, they only had room
for 4 people. :( What does everyone want me to do now?

in addition...
it's a 2.5 star hotel with continental breakfast and a pool.
we'd have to book three rooms that sleep 4. i don't think
we can have a say in whether or not they're connected or
near each other.

attention, ladies!
i need everyone's two cents worth.
i got a notice in my email box that hotwire found a hotel in duluth for
52 $ per room per night. there are a few unanswered questions, however.
i know it's a room for 4 but i don't know if the 52$ is for all 4 people or if
it's for just two. also, i don't know what hotel it is or where in duluth it is.
i'm sure, no matter what, it's closer to the mall than the casino is.
it's one of those deals where you don't find out what hotel it is until you
book it....what should i do? ...the total would come to 182.91 which is
approx. 15.24 per person if 12 people use the rooms...is this all clear
as mud?... tell me what you think.

for women only....
just so everyone knows, we'll be shopping in duluth on Nov. 10 and 11. we'll be staying at the black bear casino hotel. we know it's awfully far from the mall but the price is right....we won't be doing any gambling so don't panic, men! we'll keep our eyes out for a better hotel deal near the mall but if we can't find one we'll stick with the casino thing...even though we kind of hate to give the casino any business.
I forgot to mention that this year we are using our green scraps. The center strip is yellow. I didn't write down the pattern from last year so I have to recalculate. Jill gave me some spare blocks from last year that she didn't use so I can use them as a pattern but, if I make the blocks bigger, we will need fewer of them. I'll keep you posted.
