Hi Everybody:
Mom told me a few weeks ago to put an update on Owen on here but I was waiting for today to be done before I did that. We have had an exciting couple of months with him. The end of June he graduated from physical therapy after almost a year of going once or twice weekly and he started walking about that time too (or should I say running??). Today we went to Gillette for his 6 month check up with the orthopedic doctor and his follow up with the neurologist. He impressed his doctors a lot with where he has come the past few months so we graduated from there too. They have no answers for why he was the way he was or why he came as far as he did. We of course know the answer to that: MANY, MANY ANSWERED PRAYERS but that all to often isn't in the medical dictionary as a treatment plan. He does have a small pineal cyst on his brain however the doctor is not concerned about that and gave Kevin and I some things to look for in case it ever becomes an issue. He should hopefully be done with his 2nd helmet on September 28 which means I will be celebrating with lots of margaritas.
Thanks for all of the prayers and concerns--it was an awesome feeling to know we had so much support from family.
Maggie
p.s. One day when I get caught up--hopefully in the very near future I will post some pictures of the Bug and his brother.

TO MY WONDERFUL FAMILY
I need to say thank you to so many of you who have been so understanding and helpful during this incredibly difficult time in our family. Your calls with prayers and love and just plain encouragement have been so powerful and comforting; you'll never never know how much it has meant to us. THANK YOU! WE LOVE YOU! Please keep the prayers coming..we still need them as this is not done yet. Thanks again.
And then, the Lord in His goodness, gave us Theodore Jeshua! He's such a little sweetie. I started calling him "Theodorable" while we were there this past week. He's such a ray of sunshine! Thank You, Jesus!
A verse that I've been clinging to is: Isaiah 41:13 - For I am the Lord your God, who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, "Do not fear; I will help you." This is a verse that has become very real to me.
Thanks again, everyone!
Here are some more photos of Theodorable!
