Here are some pictures of Christmas and just some I was going to post but haven't had time. Thanks for a great day of family, fun, laughter, and food. We look forward to seeing you all at Christmas 2011 if not before.

MORE CHRISTMAS DETAILS
We will be having soups, salads, appetizers and desserts for Christmas dinner. So far, we have Hopper bringing soup and dessert, Linda the same, Madeline will bring salad and Jill will bring either popcorn salad or soup.
The adults will have a gift exchange. It is optional. If you want to take part please bring a 7-10 dollar gift to use for the exchange. It should be something you would enjoy receiving yourself.
There will be gifts for the kids as well. Some of the other grandmas and I will supply those.
Please respond to this post with what you'd like to bring and with any questions you have. Thanks. -Carol

Christmas details
I'm starting to think about details for Christmas. So far here's what I've got...nothing.
Actually, I do know one thing and that is that Madeline will be bringing a salad. Could you please respond to this and tell me what you can bring? Should we do soup and salad and dessert? Or do you prefer a meat and potatoes meal? Let me know. Thanks! Carol

CHRISTMAS
It's my turn to have Christmas dinner this year. Since my house is still not done we'll be having it at Elizabeth and Andrew's house. However, if the Lord grants us a small miracle and we get our home far enough to use we'll have it there. For now though, we're planning on having it at Toftness'. I'll have more details later. Carol

Only Mitchell.....
Our mother cat had kittens and anyone that knows me usually knows my lack of love for cats. Anyway, Mitchell convinced me that it would be okay to keep all three kitties. He has been feeding them and taking care of them and I figured since we live on a farm and it is harvest time most of the kitties wouldn't be around long anyway but here are the names he chose for these animals: Shadow, Popcorn, and B.B. Gun.

HELP!
Hi, we were given an old dresser but it needs some love and I am not sure how to do it. It is wood and painted however the paint is peeling and chipping. Also, the knobs are metal and I it looks as though they were painted at one point. Does anyone have any ideas how I can restore this? Would it be best to sand it all down? The top of it has a bow in it from something heavy. Any ideas if/how I can get this out. Any help or suggestions I could get would be great. Thank you!!! Maggie

Thank you to Linda, Madeline, Raneyl and Sam for coming to the prayer meetings for Pastor Todd.
It was so thoughtful of you. Your support shows just how great you all are. Thanks again.

Mitchell
Hello Everybody,
I didn't realize the word had gotten out about Mitchell being in the hospital over the weekend. From the looks of things it is not his appendix like we had originally thought and it is just a bad case of the flu and severe dehydration. He got sick Saturday afternoon when he was camping with Mom, Dad, Katy, Chris and the family so I went and picked him up. Saturday night he was doing a lot better and we thought it was just a 24 hour bug. By Sunday morning he was worse and his was crying that his back and stomach hurt so I took him to the ER thinking it was his appendix. They admitted him for 24 hours to observe his appendix but in running a bunch of tests they realized the back pain was from his kidneys shutting down from the dehydration and the stomach pains was just part of the flu. We came home yesterday and he is has been doing okay. He is still very drained and weak but he is definitely getting better.
We hope you are all enjoying summer and hope to see you all soon!
